At Premiere Systems, we believe strong partnerships begin with supporting one another.
We offer a selection of continuing education units (CEUs) for partner architects and designers, whether we come to your office, you join us at our Experience Center, or we host virtually via Zoom. In addition, we offer intimate demonstrations at our Experience Center and can bring in subject matter experts. If you’d like a deep dive into next-gen lighting, power management systems, or hi-fi audio/video, please reach out. Many of these SMEs also offer CEUs, so if you’re interested in combining a technology showcase with a CEU, just ask.

Outdoor Technology; Extending The Living Space

Today’s modern home has various forms of integrated technology, not only inside, but outside as well, and this market has grown beyond just simple audio and video options. One thing trade partners and clients need to know is that the list of possible technologies that can be installed and controlled is long! The outdoor space is one of the fastest growing markets. This course will provide design and build partners with a familiarity with outdoor technology options and how the environment (both weather, location, and terrain) influences outdoor technology choices. Additionally, participants will discuss the infrastructure, and equipment needs and options to ensure a successful project!
Integrated Lighting Design

Lighting plays a key role in any room design, whether you’re considering how to showcase a piece of art or how to set a scene for an intimate dinner party - the ways in which lighting can affect the feel of the room are undoubtable. What many may not realize is how technology can enhance and even simplify a home’s lighting plan. Attendees will walk away from this course with an understanding of the variety of lighting design techniques that can be streamlined with the use of technology. Additionally, attendees will gain insight on how light quality is determined and how it plays into overall lighting design plans.

Technology has undoubtedly become an important part of our everyday lives. It is used in many of our parts of our homes, including entertainment, security, and communication. As a result, residential electronic systems are becoming more prevalent, and homeowners are seeking more methods to smoothly incorporate these systems into their homes. The aim is to make technology convenient and accessible while maintaining the aesthetics of the living space. Integrating technology in a way that it blends or is completely hidden enhances both functionality and the overall design of the home. This course speaks of innovative and creative ways to lessen the visual impact of electronics by making them low-profile, hidden or camouflaged, or even invisible!
