Coming up: Film Crew Featuring Premiere Comes to CHI this June!

Coming Up:

Professional Film Crew Featuring Premiere Systems comes to Chicago this June.

As one of the founding members of the Guild Integrators Alliance, a group of the very best CI companies across the country, Premiere Systems is being featured in a promotional film funded by the Guild about our niche industry.

On June 5th-6th, professional filmmakers from Wanderlust Content, a broadcast and production company that have worked with big names like the Boston Bruins, Under Armour, and ZARA, will be filming in our Chicago Montrose location. Wanderlust chose the the Chicago area as one the locations being featured among many companies and locations across the Guild.

Wanderlust is filming content for a feature film that focuses on the role technology plays in luxury residential and commercial construction, highlighting the unique craftsmanship and passion that goes into the work that we do. Wanderlust will be interviewing Principals, Trade Partners, and others on the part they play in this process.

In fact, our very own Ann Johnson and Dave Harriff have already been filmed for this documentary during the Home Technology Specialists of America conference in Las Vegas earlier this April. Johnson was excited about the experience, stating “It was amazing to walk into this over-the-top custom Las Vegas home and find a full production team and camera crew ready to film Dave Harriff and me. Here were these enormous lights, multiple cameras, and a film director. We even had a makeup person there to help us with stray hairs and shiny foreheads.” Harriff echoed these sentiments, “I was really nervous initially but it turned out to be a lot of fun. I was very honored to represent Premiere, Premiere SAV, and the Guild, and share how we see this industry and function within it.” Premiere is one of the final companies to be filmed as part of this documentary, and Wanderlust expects that the final cut will be ready sometime by the end of August.

What will be they filming?
Wanderlust wants to film interviews with principals and trade partners, normal work at the office, and examples of our work in action. For example, they would like miscellaneous shots of rack building, hooking up a rack to a sample panel, employees talking in the hallway, and people interacting with the tech in our showrooms.
